Tromborg Mineral Makeup – Creamy Eyeshadow #4

Tromborg Mineral Makeup – Creamy Eyeshadow #4

kobber

Tromborg has an amazing mineral makeup line dressed in a beautiful minimalistic and very exclusive design. The quality of the makeup is of course top notch and is made of 100% pure minerals from nature, which I personally love.

I have recently added a new beautiful reddish / copper-like shimmering color to my collection. It is called Creamy Eye Shadow # 4 and it is super easy to work with. You can tone it off to a more shimmer like light shade with your fingers or apply it in to be more intense in color. I’ve tried it a few times and I am in love with it already.

Bottom image is a very simple application where I dabbed a little on my finger. Remember that with creamy eye shadows, you must either prime before applying and / or “set” it with an eye shadow after application. Otherwise you probably have to refresh just with your finger during the day or evening, as it sets in the eye folds.

New Color – Sparitual

New Color – Sparitual

sparitualnegle

A new hot color to my beautiful collection of SpaRitual Vegan nail polishes.

It’s no secret that I am a huge fan of SpaRitual, their products and philosophy. It is the only nail polish brand that my daughters are aloud to wear.

The color is: I Feel The Earth Move – Brown Black Crème (in the picture I have 3 layers on.)

Motherhood

Motherhood

As a mother of 3 now, I am kept really busy. After giving birth to my youngest daughter a few months ago, I have literally done nothing but being a stay at home mum! I am crazy in love again. I can’t describe how much love a mother can have for yet another child.

In spite of shopping, cooking, cleaning, laundry, nursing and whatever else that is a part of my everyday life, I am actually enjoying my maternity leave. It’s going to be interesting to see if I still feel the same way in 6 months from now ?

I’m not 100% able to put work aside. This spring, I am booked for some jobs where I can have my baby with me. I don’t t like to say no to my clients and I like to keep myself just a little bit in the game. And actually, it is a great pleasure for me to make women even more beautiful and make them feel amazing on their special day❤️

New hair color- naturigin

New hair color- naturigin

image

So I haven’t changed my hair color for a while because I wanted to relax it. It was pretty dry and I’ve spend precisely a year just conditioning it and treating it well till it got really healthy and now I needed a change! I had to do something to my hair… Something new… I needed a makeover yet without drying my hair. It took me like 3 weeks to make myself actually do it! I’ve had ombré blonde for almost 2 years now. Andmy hair simply needs a rest (from harsh colors) and I basically need a makeover….

Anyways! As I said… It took me 3 weeks to figure out wether to do it or not and also to figure out what color! If I had to go blonde again, my hair would definitely dry out! So I chose a chocolate brown color from the Danish brand Naturigin. The product is almost clean from harsh and harmful chemicals plus it didn’t itch or smell at all while applying it.

imageThis is the first time I try this type of home coloring and this brand! I’m very pleased so far! I just have to get used to the fact that I’m a full brunette now. Which is kind of refreshing plus I actually think it’s pretty!

Makeup

natasjabeforeandafter

My model in this photo, Natasha, was booked for a shoot that is meant for a more serious audience. My job was to create a complete and natural feminine look doing hair and makeup.

natasjabefore

Basic rules before you begin:

  1. Skin should be clean and moisturized and should be smooth and soft.
  2. You can choose to prime your skin with a primer or a bb-cream but this is not necessary in the winter.
  3. Usually, if it is for a photoshoot, a show, a bride or something like that, I choose to use a natural foundation all over before I start my countouring (facial framing / sculpting). Use a good foundation/blending brush or a foundation sponge.
  4. Once the foundation is applied evenly, I begin my highlight and contouring. It is important to do the technique correct to create a natural look. If it is a full coverage look you are going for, then use concealers and foundations. If it is a simple “everyday” look you are going for, you can use powders in various shades to create same effect.

Below is an example of where to contour and highlight based on your facetype and form.

Natasha has a naturally well porportioned face. Her face is quite symmetrical and therefor I only need to focus on bringing out her good features such as her cheekbones.

In the picture below you can see that I have hightligtet a bit of her forehead, under the eyebrows, the bridge of her nose, under the eyes and chin. I have chosen to frame her face by darken each “corner” of her forehead and just below the cheekbone. I blended it all evenly to make it look natural. I fixed the look with transparent powder and a little blush on the cheekbones.

I have marked Natasja’s eyebrows NATURALLY with an angle brush using eyebrow color. Eyebrows are one of the biggest and worst mistakes a lot of people make when they do their own makeup or others makeup. Either they pluck and draw them so the person look chronically frightened or they use too much color or pencil and in the wrong shade. The worst of it all, is tattooing. Stay away from that! And I have not yet seen a proper set of 3D tattoed eyebrows in Denmark to recommend it! (I’ll make a whole video post reagrding that subject!)

On her eyes I have used a natural light/nude eye pencil on the wet line and a dark colored eye shadow on the eyelid and finished with mascara.

The lips are colored with a natural slightly pink lip pencil and lipstick.

I love what I do

I love what I do

Something that I really like working with is makeovers that transform women with easy and simple tricks without major changes like hair cuts or colors etc. With simple steps you are able to create great results.

A technique that I use a lot with makeup is countouring. It’s a technique that helps you frame the face. It highlights and beautifies your facial features using dark and light tones of foundation, concealer and powder.

When it comes to hair and hairstyles I prefer to keep it simple and sexy. Wild hair updo’s sprayed with great amounts of hairspray or well formed spiral princess curls is something that I don’t work with. I have a standard and a style and that is something I will always stick to.

The results always speak for themselves! Watching the client or model’s reaction is something that makes my glad.

I am looking forward to sharing my work, makeovers and photos with you.
